Inspo Found in Fairy Aylin’s Film On Lolita Fashion & Black Beauty

Sup!!!!! Happy Monday good people.

Let’s start this week off right with a bit of kawaii empowerment aye! I need it, especially, since I have been up planning a super special kawaii party during Katsucon. I feel like I’m burning the candle at both ends, but I’m learning a lot so who am I to complain. WOOT! Here’s a teaser with more details to come~

The short documentary feature (keep scrolling! I shared it below) that inspired this post was shared with me by a friend on Facebook (thanks bunches Kelsey!!!!). I could tell as she was typing that she was possibly squealing asking if that was me in the video. haha

I had totally forgot that I was asked by an incredibly sweet lolita (really! sweet Lolita is a style and she wears sweet & IS extremely sweet) to be interviewed for her lolita documentary. We were all at NYC’S Japanese Society lecture about Lolita fashion, featuring famous Lolita model Misak Aoki.

Afterwards was a cool meet and greet. Sometime after a few beers a lot of curse words from needing to find the bathroom and I met Fairy Aylin. She kindly pulled me to the side, asking if I would mind sharing in an interview for a Lolita blog she hoped to do. Of course I didn’t mind at all … she was super kind. How could I mind?!

Thanks for the good times and connecting me with good people, always NYC!

More dreams await~ipukekawaii.gif
