Hi hi and hello friends! 💞 HAPPY SUNDAY!
First off, let me start by sharing that IF you are a client of mine, reading this, and would like to be considered for an #INKPLAY tattoo portfolio photo session with Nikkia Redd (on me and free to you) please email me with a description of what we did (pictures are very helpful!).

I would also like to take time to give a huge congratulations to Nikkia! We both applied to Design Festa (me, again huhuhu) and got accepted.
Design Fest, Asia’s largest art festival was one of my dream conventions until this past fall when I got to take part. Feel free to read about my amazing experience here.
We’re both very similar in being a bit timid in akin plunges in our crafts, for me tattooing and for her photography (check out the kawaii photo shoot we did together), BUT we are also crazy dreamer, creative people. We don’t have a huge amount of people in our circles, let alone people who would say I encouraged her to apply on a whim and just see what happens. Luckily she has me in her life for such peer pressure. haha So I guess now we’re planning for Japan! *good times*
Excited about our Ugly Sweater year-end party today and hoping to relive the success of our D.I.Y. Day, I thought I would share about my super cool visit to her studio last weekend. I didn’t know that she was super nervous, she looked so cool and calm! But hey! We’re supposed to make our crafts look easy, right? Anyway, here are some flicks from around her studio, Nikkia Redd Photography.
oohhhh fancy~ ^^
Me creeping on Nikkia while talking to customers … she’s less nervous that way 😹
Me: Who’s THIS kid? He’s just hanging out here. LOL
A family portrait of artists (my beau, my sister, and the Hello Kitty niece)
I fell in love with these dried flowers <3
It’s pretty cool and stop by to see TWO long time friends, my friend Konfal from high school and the tattoo that I did a while back. haha We went to Duke Ellington School of the Arts together and he became a big brother figure during our time in Visual Arts Department. He’s a huge teddy bear with a heart of gold and one of my biggest cheerleaders, confidants, and more. (Thanks for always being you Konfal! ^^) The piece on his arm is from one of my favorite French comics, Sky Doll. He’s given me the left side of his body to do whatever crazy ideas I want. For the right side, he is the artist and I am simply the tool.
NIKKIA!!!!!!!! Omg, I LOVE THEM! Yes I love himawari (sunflowers). They are my favorite flowers and since she’s been doing floral series lately she surprised me and did some sunflowers for me. BYE-BYE seasonal depression! *twirls*
*please take one*
