Hi かわいい + creative family!
Guess who’s boarding her flight for Japan … NAOW!
I can’t wait for some of my favorite kawaii adventures and happening.
I thought I’d outline a few cheap kawaii things that you can do in pretty much EVERY city in Japan.
And please don’t forget … the DC to Japan kawaii give-a-way launches tomorrow.
Be sure to enter in all the spaces to up your chances ✨
Now … for some kawaii adventure recommendations <3
🌸 Maid Cafe 🌸
They’re even better than in the anime!
Be sure to visit a maid cafe for a special experience filled with decently priced kawaii foods + concerts with glow sticks + treats ~
For is usually reasonably priced. And your total will usually include a sitting fee for your time in the cafe.
That may sound weird or off-putting … but it makes sense since the maids will continue to be attentive to you even if you’re not having a meal. ^.^
There are tons of maid cafes for your choosing in Japan.
But in the States, it’s a little more scattered. So you’ll have to do your research, for sure.
You can usually find them at your local anime (& pop culture) conventions.
🌸 Purikura 🌸
I tell you … there is NOTHING better than being your best kawaii (or kowai) self and stamping your day’s fun with friends.
So slide in a photo booth and leggo!
You can find purikura booths in most arcades, amusement parks and other tucked away spots.
If you want to up your purikura and do some missions, you can find specific themed purikura booths at museums and themed cafes.
A cheap purikura booth can be around $3 (about ￥3) and an expensive one can be about ￥5 … So have a blast and make some lasting memories!
🌸 UFO Arcade Fun 🌸
~hailing from my Snapchat (@ipukekawaii)~
On your next visit (or your first one) slide into an arcade or stop at one on the street for some quick UFO fun. You won’t be sorry ~
