So I could start my travels with a loved obsession & go kokeshi crazy
Around Koganji Temple
In case you’re wondering what I’m doing, this statue is the popular Arai Kannon, which is thought to help heal ailments.
Traditionally people line up in a queue to wash the statue with small hand towels which they then press to their ailing body part in hope of relief ~
My ailments at the time were my head and back (most likely from travel and work not too long after touchdown)
