Hi friends old and new! Happy Monday and how are you?! Hopefully well (as Lena puts it ^^) My gawd projects are starting to pile up *woot woot!* In a couple of weeks is SCETA Japan Center’s Pokemon-themed sports day (Taiiku no Hi). Remember?! I mentioned it here, last week. 😀 I’m super excited! If you haven’t already, please grab your tickets, please do! And come hang out with us. Ok! This will become DC’s first kawaii clothing fashion show, bringing together alternative fashion designers, and artists of all mediums to enhance DC’s kawaii culture and launch kawaii fashion into a wider range in the western fashion industry. In support of the fight to end human trafficking proceeds will be donated to Courtney’s House. An organization that helps underage victims escape sex trafficking and build new lives.

I shared her video of kawaii empowerment in Lolita fashion a while back. But here’s a formal introduction taken from Chateau De Kawaii’s press release. 12898261_135709476825020_1260762864963833657_o Fairy Aylin: Designer Fairy Aylin is a kawaii clothing designer originating from NYC. Her talents have led her to have her clothing featured in the Fashion Institute of Technology’s 2015 charity fashion show and the opportunity to work in television, photo shoots, runway shows with several designers and clothing lines including, Tashee Inc., Aimee G and Tulip Clothing. Her brand is used to mentor young women to embrace their own beauty, find faith, spread the power of kawaii fashion, create opportunities for independent artists, and help end human trafficking.

✨Model Call

We are still in the beginning stages of things of putting things together, BUT we have a photo shoot in a week. We are looking for a few beautiful ladies to model some of Lena’s handmade kawaii fashion. 😀 If you’re interested, please watch the video below (☟)  and then submit your Model Application.
