I wonder who all reads this blog just yet >.< I hope friends and fans alike will subscribe to my ramblings of kawaii work that I am attempting to do. *bling*
A while ago, Nikkia Redd and I co-hosted a group D.I.Y. (do it yourself) meet-up. It was the first meet-up for Nikkia’s efforts, Be Beautiful Campaign and another notch under the belt for #KAWAIIindaHood (I will share more about that & DC KawaiiStyle efforts in later days).
In the middle of all this chaos, that IS my creative life, I found time to soft launch my personal blog, Gambare ipukekawaii! Things unrelated to Little INKPLAY Shop and it’s funding efforts will probably be dumped here! Check out what you can look forward to here and please #staytuned~ as it grows!
Now on to the bows! ^^ The full D.I.Y Day event report is available here but I was so inspired I couldn’t help myself.
Nikkia and I both have similar campaigns that we are growing to help guide our youth, particularly young girls. Feel free to check out Be Beautiful Campaign (I am so stoked and honoured to be working on their official logo, btw!). And of course, we’d love for you to learn more about #KAWAIIindaHood (DC KawaiiStyle’s youth outreach). As sisters and friends we do try our very best to support each other when our dreams and goals are aligned. And what do you know… they certainly are! ^^
Now, here’s some cool photo spam from the day~

Our Bow Collection
Don’t ever let a small group fool you! We had so much fun … eating cupcakes, talking about kawaii, & making bows. haha
I finished two that I started that day. I did a Facebook poll of whether these should happen and well … OMG! I guess I probably should. My holiday days off will probably be spent creatively, designing some fabric so that I can follow-up and make my own bows. *ideas, ideas*
